2006 Pebblestone Skipping Stone Pinot Gris was picked at the peak of ripeness, gently pressed, and carefully protected from oxidation during an extended cool fermentation period. This process results in a clear white wine expressing delicate fruit aromas and flavor of grapefruit, pear, and peach with perfect acid balance to serve appetizers or meals. The grapes used in this wine come exclusively from Ellis Vineyard property, located in the middle of an ancient riverbed abundant with Pebblestones. The sands and the sunny Southern Oregon Rogue Valley climate create ideal conditions that concentrate aromas and flavors. |
