2005 Zinfandel de l'Arjolle, is produced by Domaine de l'Arjolle winery in France, an estate of 250 acres set among gentle rolling hills near the Languedoc town of Pezenas, and about 20 miles from the Mediterranean. Since its creation in 1974 spearheaded by winemaker Louis-Marie Teisserenc, this estate has led the way in bringing together new ideas, better methods of farming and making wine. Zinfandel de L'Arjolle is a perfect wine for gourmets who enjoy red meat. Hand harvested this red wine must be served at 60F. It accompanies a variety of gourmet meals including red meats, pastas, poultry, grilled fish, and aged cheese. |
