Users are required to provide their name, date of birth, email address, zip code, and a password. Users register with Italia-Gourmet.com by completing a form or subscribing to the e-Newsletter. Any registration form requires users to supply their email or contact information (e.g., name and address) and, if a buyer, financial information (e.g., credit card number).

We use customer contact information to send information to our registered users about the services for which they have subscribed. We use the financial information collected to verify the user's identity and to bill the user for purchasing gourmet foods.

Tell a Friend
If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. Italia-Gourmet.com does not store this information. Italia-Gourmet.com order forms request data from users including: Contact information such as name and shipping address; financial information such as credit card number, expiration date, billing address, and billing phone number. If we encounter difficulty when processing an order, this contact information is used to contact the user.
